When will BrightPeaks open, and which grades will be offered?
Our planned opening is August 2028, serving Pre-K through Grade 5 in the first year. We plan to add one grade each year afterward through Grade 12, beginning with Grade 6 in the following academic year.
Who is BrightPeaks being designed for?
Our focus is advanced and gifted learners who benefit from meaningful challenge, creative expression, and a supportive community. Admissions will consider readiness and the learning environment that can support each child. Preliminary guidance is available on our Admissions page.
What is the planned admissions approach?
Based on FSA’s admissions process, we anticipate an age-appropriate readiness assessment for Pre-K and Kindergarten, and review of school records, teacher recommendations, and academic assessment information for Grades 1–5. The final BrightPeaks requirements, dates, and fees will be announced before applications open.
Where is the campus, and what preparations are underway?
Our campus is at 6600 Corporate Center Parkway, Jacksonville, FL 32216, in the Southpoint area. The building is already in place. Preparations focus on interior design and renovation, along with outdoor play areas for students. The exterior images show the existing building with illustrative school signage. Campus visits are not yet open.
What will tuition be, and will assistance be available?
Tuition and fees will be announced soon. BrightPeaks plans to apply to participate in Florida’s school-choice scholarship programs, subject to approval. Eligibility and funding information will be shared as it becomes available.
